Prerequisites
Before connecting HubSpot to Power My Analytics, ensure you have:
- A HubSpot account with Admin, Super Admin, or Owner (full access) permissions
Adding HubSpot as a Data Source
- Log in to your Power My Analytics hub
- Navigate to the Sources section from the main menu
- Click the + Add new source button
- Locate and select HubSpot from the list of available data sources
- Sign in to your HubSpot account and authorize the Power My Analytics app

Creating a Looker Studio Report
Follow these steps to create a Looker Studio report using your HubSpot data:
- In the Power My Analytics hub, go to Reports > Looker Studio
- Select HubSpot from the list of available data sources (this will open the official Looker Studio application in a new window)
- Google Looker Studio Configuration:
- Step 1:
- Name your data source (e.g., "HubSpot - Your Organization Name")
- Choose your Power My Analytics hub from the dropdown
- Optional: Leave "Use report template for new reports" checked to use the PMA demo template
- Click Next
- Step 2:
- User Account: Select your HubSpot account (for real data) or "Sample Account" (for sample data)
- Click Next
- Step 3:
- Under “Email dates based on”, select “Publish Date” (to report data on only email campaigns that were published during the report’s date range) or “None” (to report data on all email campaigns regardless of the date selected)
- Choose options for "Contact dates based on" (stage of customer lifecycle) and "Deals dates based on" for your reports
- Optional: Allow modification of these date settings in reports
- Click Connect (top right) to complete the data source configuration
- Step 4:
- Click Create Report (top right)
- Include “today” in your report’s date range to begin historical data storage when you first create a report
